Review login and permission history

BayEngine does not keep a viewable login or permission history yet. There is no page that shows when a User signed in, what they did across the shop, or who changed a User Permission. What you can review today is a User's current access, and, on a Repair Order, who did what on that record.

Check a User's current access

Open Configurations in the sidebar, then Users, and select the person. The Info tab shows whether the account is Active, Invite pending, or Inactive, along with their Shop Roles. The Permissions tab shows their current grants for the active Shop, with any broader grants (organization-wide or all-resource) listed above the grid. This is the current state only; it does not show when a grant was added or what access looked like last month. To change what you find there, see Assign Shop Roles, shop access, and User Permissions.

See who did what on a Repair Order

Each Repair Order has an Activity card that records meaningful changes, with the User who made each one and when. That answers "who moved this RO" or "who changed the promise time" for one Repair Order. It is not a shop-wide log, and you cannot pull one User's activity across all Repair Orders.

What is not recorded or shown yet

  • Sign-ins. There is no last-login time on a User and no list of active sessions.
  • Permission changes. Revoking a grant removes it; nothing records who granted or revoked a permission, or when.
  • Shop-wide or per-user activity reports.

If you need to investigate

If you suspect an account is being misused, deactivate the User first so access stops while you look into it, as described in Add, update, deactivate, or reactivate users. Then contact the BayEngine team with the User's name, the rough time window, and what you are trying to establish. We can check what our systems recorded for that period, which covers more than the app shows.

If the concern is a shared or compromised password rather than misuse by the account holder, start with Sign in, reset a password, and resolve account-access problems.
